Fishing for answers

I've been trying to fish from the lighthouse docks for days, but no luck with any letters. Is there a prerequisite that I'm not aware of?

To my knowledge, this kind of stuff can be fixed by not using bait/tackle when fishing. If you have been fishing without either, then I'm not really sure :(

I wasn't using anything, only the rod :(

Mine all caught in a row , they all hit if you are looking out to sea to the right off the dock.

Yep. I had to fish while standing immediately right of the dock. If I stood anywhere else, no letters. It's bizarre.

so you don't stand on the dock? or on the right side of the dock?

google will help you find the right spot..hard to describe here with words..it's a very specific place...guide will show you the screenshot of where the spot is..it's faster for you..

Yeah stand on the dock heading out to see, fish off the right.
