Yes, you probably played the beta 2 or 3 years ago. It's a good thing that the game only went into closed beta on August 2nd, 2023, where I also played. A bit of a wrong sense of time?
But to answer your question. You have to contact support. Not here on Steam but directly via the Palia support page or simply try to reset your password via the page and have a new one sent to you. You probably still know your email address, right?
1. Go to https://support.palia.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
2. Click on In-Game: skills, quests, or content refunds

they will email you a days later to confirm and then just respond to that
It's the same thing as completely deleting the account and making a new one, lose everything.
If you do lose everything, open another ticket and tell them they did it wrong.
