Fishing is....what?

Ok, so...I really enjoy the game and I've been playing it for over 100 hours till now (recently started playing) but don't you think the fish drop rate is a bit too much? I mean, rare fish are way more than rare and don't even get me started on epic ones...I get the fact that this is your way of making people play for hours on end but...this is not fun, this will not keep people playing. It is frustrating to keep fishing for hours and hours and sink a lot of time and materials for worms and so on (yes, I know I can purchase worms, but then what is the point of making them?). I've been fishing for several hours now for just one lousy fish which I need for one of the bundles. This, imho, will not keep people playing. This will get people bored of the game fast and they will either start hating fishing or stop playing all together. Maybe just up the rates a bit :) All in all a pretty addictive game. Keep up the good work!

Should I say that after about 3 hours of fishing I actually hooked the fish and started moving chaotic and couldn't catch it? Niceee, this makes me wanna drop my pc off a cliff actually :)

I started the walls bundle recently and i can feel your pain with epic and rare fishies.

If this helps, even if it can be frustrating, try to do others stuff around when your fish is not there or you can't manage to drop it.
Usually rare fish have about 1% to 5% drop chance, it goes a little bit higher with bubbles (for star fish). So eventually try to fish only on bubbles when you see them if you don't aim for a specific fish and just so you can keep them !

Well, thank you for the tips, but for now I am targeting specific fish, cause they are for the bundles ofc :D So I am stuck fishing for hours on end :))

My friends watched me fishing for HOURS aswell for some of them (i'm looking at your Blue Marlin).

Since you target specific fish, the bubble tip apply still.
Also if you are fishing next to players, you can have a faster hooking time (10% up to 5 times), which can help a tons!

Thank you very much! Well, if I fish bubbles and catch the fish starred....I WILL NOT put it in the bundle hahaha, so I only fish normally, until I will catch all the fish needed :D

I must have crazy luck then cause I've only been fishing from quality spots and caught every Kilima Lake fish except the Ancient Fish in a few hours of playing.

Well, yes, you must be lucky. Also, I do not want a starred version. Given how rare the fish is, if I get a starred version, I will definitely keep it for display, not throw it in the bundle :))

I've been catching the starred version for display, in fact, I'm on a quest to catch every starred fish to display.
