Unable to purchase Palia coins from premium shop

When attempting to purchase Palia coins, the process gets stuck on the "validating your purchase" screen after selecting a coin bundle, without proceeding to the payment option selection. anyone experiencing this? do you guys have any workaround?

I have been having this issue since forever, even when Palia wasn't on Steam yet ;-;

I'm having the same issue. I found some old threads on reddit saying that switching to windowed mode instead of full screen can get it to work. It didn't work for me, but some users reported success.

Fix for me found! Lovely user on the discord helped me out!

Make sure the Steam Overlay is turned on.

- Click on the Steam menu in the top left and click Steam Settings.
- Click on In Game
- Toggle the 'Enable Steam Overlay while in Game' option
- Right click on Palia in your library and click Properties.
- Toggle the 'Enable Steam Overlay while in game' option.
