Log out of account?

I had played the game before but forgot the email so ended up making a new account. But now after discovering my old account. I don't see any way of logging out of the new account on steam. Even removing the game from my account and reinstalling it it automatically logs me into the new account. So does anyone know how to fix this or is this new account now permanently locked to my steam account?

You have to contact support for assistance with this afaik. There's no way for us as players to undo this currently.

I did send in a support ticket just thought I'd ask in case I was missing something obvious. Gotta love games coming with a lack of basic features like this. Lol.

Yeah, it is super frustrating. I stopped playing for a couple months after pouring hundreds of hours into it and have a couple of alt accounts for different style houses. I have a lot of friends who wanted to delete and start over, they certainly don't make it convenient. I was excited to see it come to Steam, but now I still have to keep a copy of the other game client to be able to play my secondary accounts so it feels almost meaningless to have it installed via Steam.

Hopefully they respond to you in a timely fashion.

Oh ffs, they really REALLY don't want people to have more than one character ever, huh? Even though multiple characters would equal more outfits from their beloved cash shop. But I guess other than technical issues or an obsession with housing (which was my motivation for an alt too), the game gives you little reason for alts as you can only really play it one way, i.e. the way they intended.

"MMORPG" indeed... just without the MMO aspects and without the RPG aspects, lmaooo

You don't really NEED more than one character, and I can't even imagine doing this grind on more than one.

It does seem odd to me, though, that the Steam version doesn't allow you to enter a user ID and password like the standalone client.

Yes but I don't want to restart is the problem for me and my only choices is to continue with the new account or wait for a fix so I can play on my account I put many, many hours into.

Did this ever get resolved for you? I'm currently in the same boat and so frustrated. I basically bought a gaming laptop so I could play Palia off of my switch to experience it.
