Villager Gift Requests

Perhaps a good feature to add would be a journal that lists information about villagers, eg, name/town/gift request/location/store(y/n)/etc... this would be ideal if it were two styles - one as a detailed page (like a booklet on people you've met in game), as well as a quick-list with icons across from left to right and sortable (click on top category to change it from ascending to descending so we can sort town, gift type (eg, bug, seed, food, et cetera), store, name, and so on.

As it stands, once you ask about a gift, you can't seem to ask them again (perhaps this comes up again over time?) but... asking once, I must be blind (I am sure I am totally derping out - so if someone knows before I figure it out, please tell me)... but I really can't find where that info is kept... and I don't have the memory to keep all the requests of villagers in the game in my head!

It has been requested since Closed Beta. Preparing for the botched Switch release took precedence.
