Cant move?

I cant move in game at all, the game is active and not froze, i can see the npcs moving around me but... i cant walk? I cant even open the escape menu.

yeah same! I think some had the same issue but moved after a few minutes... I'm still stuck

Seems to be an issue with closing the shops with the escape key, or at least something along those lines. It's happened to me 3/3 times hitting the escape key to leave the shop.

Edit: You may have to restart your game however to be able to walk again. That's what I've been doing. Mildly annoying but it is day 1

Same issue, if I hit escape before clicking the X on the shop menu or if the NPC decides to walk away and close it themselves I get stuck and have to restart.

Looks like this is a common bug, as this is the third post I have replied to.

Try equipping your axe and swinging it. That used to work when your character was stuck.

Also, if swinging your axe doesn't work; try typing /unstuck in the chat box

nothing works when this happens. Cant press esc, nothing. NOTHING. What dont you get by cant move?

It's happening to me even if I click the x to leave the shop. I have to restart the game every time I visit a shop.... This is going to be a deal-breaker for me if they don't fix soon.

cant even open chat, it completely locks ANY type of movemement. There isnt even a mouse pointer. You have to alt/f4 the game.

Came looking for just this issue. That has to be one of the most game breaking bugs I have ever seen. Its so prevalent that the devs had to know about it and just said send it.

We specifically begged them to label the steam release as beta because we knew what it was like, and today they banned a bunch of us from discord for it lol

The game is free. No idea what they stand to gain by basically lying to their player base before they even begin. I mean some people couldnt even get past the start screen because of a stupid FOV issue where it starts at 30 and if you dont change it the game just crashes. 30? What? Why is that even a thing

This must be a new bug. They just made updates to the game today. I've having this issue right now. Don't feel like restarting the game now since it's late for me. Hopefully they hotfix this soon.

Yeah everytime i talk to a merchant or something i freeze and have to back out the game. Loving the game but this one needs fixing sooner rather than later. Its FREE to play so im not mad. Hope they continue to improve this. LOTS OF POTENTIAL :D
