So in reality how much pay to enjoy will it be?

Its a beautiful free2play game!

If you want to support the team & their work, you can buy cosmetic skins ingame with money. 💖 Its only cosmetic.

I already payed some money to cosmetics. Because in my opinion, I love this game and I want to support the team to keep this game alive for more updates and features 🥰 But again: Its not neccesary to come forward. Only cosmetics. (:

The only purchases are cosmetic, and mostly just your character (outfits, glider skins, and pets that follow you but don't actually do anything.)

And while the outfits you get for free aren't nearly as flashy as the cash shop outfits, you do get a variety of them with different color swatches, and you can change between them at any time.

If you're worried that this means you won't have anything cosmetic to play with, it's okay. You can still express your creativity through building and designing your housing plot, which is infinitely more in-depth and customizable than the characters/character outfits anyway. Making a really nice house/yard is the most impressive thing, and there aren't actually any cash shop purchases for the housing plot, so if you're a F2P who's a dab hand at interior/exterior decorating, you'll always have a better-looking plot than someone who isn't.

Zero pay to enjoy. Premium shop is optional and if you feel like you want to support the devs and get yourself a snazzy outfit or two. Comes with a cool Palcat for the first purchase.

It's literally just character cosmetics that are monetized. Not even housing items or anything else. People just have a weird hate boner for this game.

Nah i dislike free to play in general because 99,9% they reduce game play to dog vomit in order to drive players to a cash shop and i'm still very skeptical with this game because it wouldn't be the first time devs suddenly 'change their mind' at a release or some time after.

The only thing you have to pay for are cosmetics.

That can certainly be a barrier for enjoyment for some people in multiple ways, though; there are some ridiculous outfits (a hotdog outfit releasing today, for instance) that kind of break the immersion the game goes for, and I know that being able to freely customize your character is a big draw for some people. You (currently) cannot unlock any outfits through gameplay; only the cash shop.

That's not an unreasonable skepticism to have.

But it's also a relatively small file size at only about 10GB, so I feel like if you're already interested enough in the game to be in the Discussion Board on it's Steam page, and your only concern is whether the developers might possibly change their minds in the future but they've shown no signs of doing so in any capacity yet, then why not just play the game and enjoy it now, anyway?

Game doesn't cost a dime, unless you want/care to have your character dress like a woman (seriously, where are the outfits for men?).

It is actually free to play, so far they've only added outfits and useless pet cats. The outfit costs are ridiculous tho so if they add anything else I expect it to cost as much as full game for anything you buy.

Huge exaggeration don't you think. Have you seen outfits from other games that are like double the price, on top of being a $60-$70 game plus a season pass and a battle pass?

No, it's not an exaggeration. A single outfit costs 15$-30$ which is, as I said, the price of amount full game such as stardrew valley.

Other games being as bad don't invalidate this one being bad as well so the point is kinda moot.
