There is a major bug with the Palia website where the website automatically signs you in to the previous person's account and you can't sign out and log in to another account. If you press sign out and then try to sign in it just automatically logs you in to the same account without asking for a email, username or password. I am constantly being logged in to an account of a different person that I don't even know

I'm having the opposite problem, I installed it on the PC and it keeps asking for my password every single time, there's no option to remember me like on the switch

At least it is asking you for your password and letting you sign into your own account instead of doing what it is doing to me how it is forcing me to sign into random strangers account and won't let me log into my own account. It doesn't do anything. Also, that isn't the point. Even clearing cookies or deleting cashe worked that still doesn't change the fact that this is a huge security risk and privacy invasion problem

Only if you're sharing a computer with someone. This is palia, you're probably not going to be playing it at the library

Only if you're sharing a computer with someone. This is palia, you're probably not going to be playing it at the library

It is doing this at my personal computer from my own home and I am the only one that lives there and nobody else uses that computer and nobody else has access to my Wi-Fi. It is always a completely different random account that it signs me into every time. Also, lots of people play these types of games at the library, but that is beside the point.

It does this exact same thing to me as well when I go to login to the Palia Official Website. I'm using my personal laptop and using it from my home. I own my home and I live by myself. My wi-fi is only available to me. Every day when I press login it logs me into a new account that isn't mine and it is always a different account. If I press logout and clear cookies/cashe and press login it stills logs me into a new account that isn't me.

Sounds like y'all should be submitting a support ticket so that they can find out why it's happening and maybe find a way to fix it. You can log in to their website, even if it's not logging you in to your own account.. that means you have access to the support from there.. they may be slow at fixing things but they can't fix something like this if they are not aware of it.

I already did that. Of course it wasn't from my own account since it isn't letting people log into their own accounts. So, I would have zero information on what the developers said

ok so when you submitted the ticket, did you offer them your account info so that they would have that to see that it wasn't your account? TBH idk how they might figure this one out, but the more info they have the more likely they can find a way to fix it

it might also be worthwhile to head over to their discord and post in the tech help channel.. somebody there might be able to get the info directly to the devs?

I have been experiencing the exact same problem as Rachel Denison and katiekreps. Here is an idea, how about since it is logging us into random different accounts that we don't own how about we just use those accounts to post extremely rude, offensive and obscene things and get those accounts band until there is nothing left for It to log us into except for our own accounts. Maybe the developers will take notice and actually start to do something if countless accounts start to get banned along with these complaints

Your advice is appreciated but, you are missing the point, the point is that it needs to be fixed and right away. It shouldn't be that hard for people to log into their own account and this privacy issue shouldn't exist. This is the only website that I've ever heard of with a problem even remotely similar to this
