NIGHT-RUNNERS PROLOGUE

Thrustmaster TMX FFB, TH8A Shifter And T3PA Pedal Set Support
As the title says, I've got the aforementioned sim wheel setup. The shifter is useless, the throttle and brake axis are inverted but the wheel does work and so does the clutch.

At 900 degrees of steering, my wheel has a massive deadzone. Almost requiring me to turn it 180 degrees before the car starts to steer.

The shifter seems to just be dead entirely. Doesn't show up at all and it also looks like the game doesn't have support for a proper manual H-Pattern system yet, which is fine, early access and all. I have paddles so that's no big deal.

What actually makes the game unplayable, however, is the gas and brake being essentially inverted. When they are released (Which should be 0% application of both pedals.) the game believes they are actually pushed down (At 100% application) instead.

I notice the Clutch axis has + and - next to it, likely indicating that this issue has happened to someone with their clutch pedal but not with their brake and gas pedals - so they likely didn't think to add an option to invert those pedals as well.

Devs, if you read this, I'd really appreciate either a fix or some advice on what I can do since Thrustmaster - Unlike Logitech - Doesn't have software that allows me to invert those axis outside of the game. I adore racing on the Shutoko Expressway and would love to experience the game in its current state before I buy it when it comes out! :mashyourmotor:

Ah, okay! Roger that. Thank you for letting me know - PS5 controller it is!

I can at least say the throttle and brake issues are likely caused by not having the correct drivers and software for your setup. games would detect my throttle and brake as one thing (brake is - throttle is + and pressing both together would even out to 0) until i installed software from 2010. If you want wheel control in games that dont support it, you can set the wheel up so games think its a controller joystick, and pedals as triggers, then make sure bindings are correct

So I just tried the game with my g27 setup (in VR) and in the controls settings the game fully recognises my setup as "CONTROLLER logitech g27" and all of the inputs are recognised and work perfectly. However it feels like the game smooths the steering inputs as if it were a controller joystick, which sucks.

VR first person support is not implemented yet (however it's in the config files, just doesn't do anything), but widescreen res with steam theatre works well enough.

Ah okay, that explains it. I thought it was a bug at first.
Single devices should be fine - but whenever you have a wheel, dedicated pedals etc. as unique devices it doesn't allow you to assign them properly.

I could set up my pedals but nothing else - whenever I wanted to assign a different controller it nagged me that I should assign all controls first - you kinda don't want phone on the pedals though so...

Let's hope it'll be fixed in the full release. Would be nice to drive this on a full wheel setup.
