i was looking at different bumpers i could put on my sannis so i can get a fog light, bad news is that they dont make things that much better so i wasted my time testing them, but i also found out that apparently having more than 250kg downforce drastically decrease your top speed, im not sure if 30kg downforce less will make my car handle worse noticeably but i still dont understand why the moment you cross that threshold my top speed suddenly went from 381km/h to 346km/h
also btw, what are your suggestions for engine upgrades? i maxed it out but it overheats if i hold it at wide open throttle for way too long during a sprint race and even drag race, which never happened before (i put on nos too but my engine will still overheat even if i dont use it, back then i didnt have any nos, should i remove it?)

now im even more confused, i have another sannis, both are 180 and have almost identical setup with the only difference being one have a bit more weight because i have all the panels on the interior still attached and one of them is an auto (i wanted one for fun because i can) and the heavier auto (yes, i still dont know why im keeping it, im doing all the racing with the manual and bits of it are still missing) only takes 245 kg downforce for a decrease in top speed, like... what

It's intentional. Too much downforce creates drag which lowers the top speed you can go.

Downforce is a drag. Used to increase your grip on mid to high speed corners.

I know what it is, I just don't know why 250kg specifically and why top speed suddenly drops rather than slowly decrease (which would make my life a heck lot harder)
