Simple suggestion about GPS

Just played a bit after the new patch which I personally think is great. I love that you guys have added the actual route on the GPS when you have a destination set. One sugestion though about that. I think that when you arrive at a destination the built in voice that lets you know about that should be in japanese. I just think it would add to the atmosphere of the game which I think already is amazing. Just like when you are exiting the garage I believe I heard some sort of japanese comment from the "car" when the character turns on the engine (like some of these old japanese cars had).
Please take it into consideration and already congratulations to you for creating this amazing experience. Yes an experience cause its not just a game in my eyes. You really captured the vibe of this specific time and place, THANK YOU!

We can assume that the player character is from oversees, as your buddy from the start of the game will greet you on the phone with "Welcome to Japan".
It could be that they brought their phone, GPS and maybe a few other gadgets with them from overseas, from whatever English speaking country they're from.
That would explain why those electronics are set to English.

I also tried looking up what that voice is, that speaks every time you start your car in the garage.
Not sure if this is correct and period accurate, but it appears to be a card reader for an ETC (electronic toll collection) card and the voice either tells you that no card could be found or explicitly reminds you to insert your card into the reader before you drive off.
Since these electronic toll collection booths and card readers seem to be primarily a Japanese thing, it makes sense the voice would speak in Japanese as well, even if your player character prefers speaking English.

In summary, I think the game actually has enough wiggle room to explain why the GPS, phone and maybe some other gadgets the player could have access to are set up in English, but the tech they acquire locally is set to Japanese

idk if the dev would see near-an-year old topic, but ETCカードが挿入されていません is plain weird when we are clearly using ETC card to navigate thru highway system.

I should be ETCカードが挿入されました [ETC card is/has been inserted] instead.
