Play on higher resolution
Using dgVoodoo2 you can scale it to any resolution you want, without breaking ui, had best results forcing 2x resolution instead of actual monitor resolution avoiding blurry text

Hope this helps ppl trying to play this awesome game on modern hardware :reinforce:

ok...
- download this archive: www.wsgf.org/phpBB3/download/file.php?id=1667

- extract the file in the main directory of the game

- open with notepad the file "settings" in the main directory of the game

- change the line VideoResolution=800x600 in VideoResolution=1920x1080

- play the game! (main menù and battle HUD aren't in the right position, but all works)

Yeah, it works, but the messed up HUD isn't really worth the higher resolution, oh well, thank you for trying.

Unfortunately, all the high resolutions screw with the position of the UI battle interface so I just settled for the game's native 1024x768 resolution scaled to fullscreen to fit my 16:9 widescreen display. Although slightly stretched, at least there are no black side bars and the graphics still look pretty decent for their age if you use the config app in the main game folder to set the texture quality to high and use True color (32 bit),

More importantly though, using the game's native resolution, the UI battle HUD size and position is exactly as it should be from corner to corner along the bottom of the screen.
