I always clear the map to the castle to unlock all the obelisks. from there, I just use each different tower for the different mobs. The saws for high health mobs are most important. From there, some armor piercing like the bomb tower....rockets for flying mobs and then the magic tower thing for the magic shield mobs. It's super easy, I don't use any of the slow or continous dmg towers
I don't know what to say, I assume after 90 hours you have all the upgrades?
I gues props to you. Probably used to pretty fast gameplay?
Anyway, I fully agree with TS and find the game very difficult for what it is. In 56 hrs now and since about 40 hrs fully tier 2. Level 1 and 2 are too easy, once tier 2 is unlocked, 3 I only beat once so far, but 4 I need to be faster than my almost 40 yr old brain can handle.
- spread out wood production more --> each chopper should access +3 trees with no overlap from other wood logging ranges
- Beginning: start with 1-2 ballistas and when needed fill up with the cheap 50 wood canons during the first few rounds, add some of the anti-air towers and maybe the piercing wood collumns..
- Parallely, build up your eco and see to find and mine iron ore as fast as possible
- Meanwhile aim for ~4 saw mills and ~4 stone refining machines
- once you got iron production running (2 iron drills + ensure for enough coal fed into the plant) --> build a lot of the saw towers. Those towers will bring you in a "relaxed" situation for the coming waves.
- Next you should strive to develop the rocket towers (without those you will never make it past the armored air mobs)
- After that, you need the electric shock tower
- Once you reached max towers, replace all cheap ones with the more expensive ones
Also, in lvl 3 and 4 I started to only use the "larger" light ray towers to get an overview of the map. I believe this was also a crucial factor for me to beat lvl. 4.
That being said. I also find this game a bit too stressfull!
I would love options to:
- slow/increase game speed
- difficulty changes
