Sadly, this game, as promising as it looks, is yet another bad example of simulation game in the collection of badly finished train simulators.

Good things first: the trains have a great attention to detail and (to my intrained I) behave very natural. The atmosphere the game manages to achieve while driving the trains through the tunnels and above viaducts of Hamburg and Berlin definitely feels very great.

Still, even on highest settings the graphics are acceptable at best. Glitching shadows, bad exterior models and bad and too early loading LOD models still destroy some of that atmosphere. Personally, I did not have problems with the performance, but I have a rather beefy computer, so take that with a grain of salt.

Ignoring that, the game is fun, but with the limited amount of tracks and vehicles it can grow repetitive rather fast. For enthusiasts, as which I would call myself as well, it can still be fun to enjoy.
NOT for the full price, however. The publisher seems to ahve a habit of releasing unpolished games and not fixing them. Therefore, I still advice against buying the game and waiting for a decent discount instead.

The usual trend in the gaming industry: games are no longer tested, but simply released. Here we have yet another prime example of the community replacing the testers.

Unfortunately, besides all the bugs, the game also struggles extremely with performance, despite visibly tight LODs. The passenger AI is unfortunately really boring; I had really hoped for more compared to the predecessor. The tracks, especially the switches and level crossings, still look just as awful as in the first part. The sounds are unfortunately often buggy and the quality is more okay than good (could be worse, but could also be much, much better).

I'm sure that the bugs will be fixed sooner or later and the performance will also be optimized, but I would wait another year until it's playable.

This is far the best Subway (metro) Simulator. The optimalization is very good, i can play with 30-40 fps on medium settings with my pc, that isn't even meeting with the minimum requirements. The graphics are very good too, i can only imagine what it looks like on epic settings. The immersion is just insane, i could drive all day back and forth, because it just feels right, the physics the sounds the attention to detail, and the best in my opinion are the platform mirrors, which render in real time.

I bought the game because i had the original SubwaySim Hamburg and that way it's way cheaper only 16 euros (I will buy it on PS5 to get the full experience).

So to sum it up i think it's a really good Simulation game, you should definitely try it out!
