Grab the cash from the cache in house until you get 40, then casino to double that to 80, then casino for 70 more... the third casino is more rewarding but too short for comfort IMO. You can't use casino once you're at 300+ money.
During morning, exit the house and go to the park. grab stuff from the bushes/ground by uncovering tiles and then grabbing the item. There is money, flowers, rats and small packets. those packet can then be sold by spending time near the shop and acting like a dealer. Not worth the effort IMO. You get at most 20$ per DAYS with this method with a small bonus of like 20 more from the bushes/ground pickup.
With casino you can max out your money in a day. quite easily too. if you start with the bare minimum you get 40+70+70+70 in a day. which is 250 out of a maximum of 300. If you play on story mode instead of survival you'll never need money for food or whatever so it's more than enough for all the quests.
