When I use controller I don't move as fast as with m+k

When I hold w on the keyboard I seem to gain way more speed than holding forward on the analog stick. I'm using a PS5 contoller with steam input enabled. Any possible fixes would be appreciated!!

You need to change the "outer ring" of the deadzone in your controller settings. The devs really shouldn't have expected that every controller would be able to hit 100% of the maximum input range.
