And games that are really, really good take a huge amount of time to develop - check Primordia or Resonance.
Blackwell series is OK but it's not there, only a couple of those, and those were episodic as well.
I don't think the issue is entirely within the devs, it's the publishers that should start providing more funding.
That said, Reversion is pretty bad compared to the rest of the games, the writing is poor, the grammar is terrible, it was pretty hard to try and enjoy the game. Regardless, it's a start and there are many adventure games coming from Argentina in the next years.
