they think that's why tarkov is successfull and makes all the money. they don't understand it's the atmosphere, gunplay, graphics, gameplay and the setting instead.
solo pve tarkov is huge too. games need solo pvp modes, bros. please.
The game allows you to drop in solo. When you select "Deploy" you have to disable "Group Fill", it's under the map list.
I think he means a solo only mode where it's all solo players against each other.
I don't want to carry bad players.
You basically need to pray that other 2 will have the same objective as you, otherwise you're basically wasting ~20 mins babysitting other players. That's not fun.
Naw, if they implement solo-only, then there will be a trio team that goes in solo to work together. Being on the receiving end of that is what's not fun.
The real solution is to add friends through Steam when you find players that you can work with. When you have (say) a dozen such friends, then it's a matter of the devs making it easy to join someone who is already in-game.
no. Just add a real solo mode.
This. It's hit and missed in this game currently. Thankfully I ran into 2 other people that wanted to team up and help each other out with objectives. Most of us got about 3 ranks out of helping each other out even if it meant that we had to hightail it around the map. Thankfully we were all pretty decent at the game so we won the majority of our PVP fights and extracted on the vast majority of our runs. On the other side of this, I've been in teams with no communication and everyone going their separate ways that have been complete dumpster fires. The developer definitely needs to implement some type of squad system to allow people to form parties around particular objectives.
Just let people enjoying the game the way they want. And if a solo matchmaking can be good for the game, let it be.
The problem is that there is no means of policing a trio who decide to enter as solos. Just as there is no means of policing such players who enter a discussion thread and scream for solo.
You can report and ban cheaters. Cheaters shouldn't be why you don't make a solo mode. That's inane.
