Hey Erik, I'm having trouble uploading a GIF. When I hit Save to Community Hub, the Steam window goes black and stays like that.

@Kalaster1 the same thing has started happening to me. I think it might have something to do with the replay quality. I was able to upload lots of low quality replays, but the replays that I took after switching to medium quality won't upload.

I believe the maximum file size on the Steam Community is specified as 10 MB, but in practice I've had it fail with stuff slightly smaller than that. It might actually depend on the particular clip and how it compressed and could result in something slightly larger or smaller. Would be good to know which Medium quality file sizes fail and succeed. Then maybe I can adjust the in-game settings to more consistently get under that limit.

Ah okay that would be it, I have two medium quality replays that are 9.7 and 9.6 MB and one high quality that is 10.8 MB.

What I did with my clip was I used a gif size reducer online, I forget which one I used specifically. I lowered it from 8mb to 6mb and it worked

All of my gifs are entries. yay!

This question is about a map I guess... In my GYM me and my friends play these types of dodgeball games. We have paintball dodgeball where we can go anywhere just like in this game then we have classic dodgeball with a line you can't cross. Is there any way you could make a map with like a line on it and when you step over it you explode? Or make a wall in the middle of a map but allow only the dodgeballs to go through? Just an idea :)

Yeah, it appears GIFs 8MB or bigger fail to upload. there are many gif optimizers you can use. I use this one: http://ezgif.com/optimize

Also, for further reference the medium setting sems the way to go for small, uploadable gifs without sacrificing quality.
