An Alley Oop is actually when you kill an enemy mid-air, using a ball that was thrown to you by a teammate mid-air.
Ninja is when you grab a regular ball whilst mid-air, and kill an enemy mid-air.
In that highlighted time, you can grab it just by clicking on it. It can take some practice to catch them, I suggest practicing with a bot.
The same works with balls just lying on the ground, you can grab them by clicking on them.
