I have all my music in a folder, all converted to .ogg (via VLC), I got to the audio settings and input the file address and nothing. Can anyone help.

If you input the path to the folder and press enter, a message should come up saying "Found __ compatible files". Then if you click on the Playlist button, you should see all the songs there in a list. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working, maybe double check the path to the folder? Or you might have to restart the game for it to work. I'm not 100% sure.

Same problem. I'm going to restart it and see if it fixed it.

No, it doesn't say 'Found Compatible Files" It goes back out of the audio options when I paste in the directory and hit enter. I'm sure it's the directory because I ctrl+c'ed from a song in the directory itself. Also, they're all OGG files.

edit: I assumed defeat and started looking int he workshop for other songs.. I subscribed to the developer's playlist, but that's not activated yet in the game.. however, I go back into the audio options and try pasting in the directory again. It somehow works, and now my songs are in there! Huzzah!

If you can't get it to work, just verify you have the exact directory, and try it a few times.. Play the game a bit.. Leave the game.. try again.. It could work eventually!

Same problem. The game states always "folder not found", even though I checked the path 5 times and tried multiple paths. Finally I put music directly under C:\ but still "folder not found". Tried pressing enter, clicking outside the box, etc. Can't get it to work. Also I have both ogg and wav files but it's no good since FOLDER NOT FOUND

Help please?

Just note, I don't think the game supports recursive music directories. So for example, if you sort your music like this -

Users/Josh/My Music/Slayer
Users/Josh/My Music/System Of A Down
Users/Josh/My Music/Slipknot

- You can't just select the 'My Music' folder and get the songs in those sub folders.

I'm pretty sure this is true, but I'm only going by the fact that someone on these forums suggested adding recursive music directories a while back. Maybe this was your problem?

Edit: NVM, I didn't read the comments you guys posted before typing this. Apparently you guys were having a different problem. Anyway, I'll leave this here in case it helps someone else.

Yes, thanks for pointing that out. I already took this into account though, ultimately just trying to paste the .ogg and .wav songs directly under C:\ but the game says "folder not found".

The soundtrack in this game is really good, though I could use some variation by now :D
So please, anyone, suggestions how to make this work?

It started working now. Strange... But cool. But strange... I don't undertand. Cool that it works now though.

You have to select the music folder restart the game and then it works. Hope that helped
