It's time for Free to Play
I think it's time, nobody is gonna buy it anymore. Even with 80% discount, it's not worth it if nobody is playing. Just make it free, try to get as many people as possible to make the game alive. There will be monetization options once we have a good user base. I don't understand why this isn't F2P already, is it really worth for the dev to get 20 bucks now and then?

All the players who bought it don't care at all that they bought a free game. All they want is more players. I'm pretty sure the majority would take this little inconvenience for more players.

I skimmed the topic, too many long posts.

F2P would probably attract more players, but it wouldn't exactly make players stick to the game. If anything, it'd create more of a problem with trying to keep the game alive by not giving the dev enough funding to keep working on it. Maybe once there's a large enough item shop it'd be worth going F2P, but for now, the price tag should stay.

You have no arguement to give you ground for the reasoning behind the suggestion that this game should become F2P. because all the information youve said, are lackluster, and have been based on 17.6 hours of gameplay.
So you need to have thousands of hours to make an educated suggestion? Please dude, that doesn't make any sense. You have no arguments at all why is shouldn't be F2P, that's what's up.

It doesnt? I know more about the community and game than anyone else who has played, or is playing the game. After all, I've spent over a 1000 hours playing in this community. If anything, I am the most reliable source of information you have regarding what Is and isn't true about the community and its playerbase.

It is CHRISTMAS, Rayan, CHRISTMAS. Did you really think you would see 50 people online, on Christmas!?
The charts show how low the playerbase is man.

So what's your reason for not making it F2P? I'm still waiting.
Someone already answered that question for you.

The people who are going to like it will stick, no matter what the price is.
The game doesn't make enough sales anymore to make any significant funding anyways.
The item market will grow with more people feeding it, hence why F2P is a good idea.

Based on 17 hours of experience.
Now please tell us, where do you get these sales figures from.

You keep saying that like it's your mottto. You don't need 1000hours of playtime to look at the charts and see the low playerbase.

I'd like to know where you're pulling up these sales figures. Specifically because Steam doesn't allow you to look up these values normally, and even then, other sites aren't exactly perfect.
Orayan,
I was just playing. There are people on EU servers and had really good games. Just play the game and have fun :)

Well appearently youre wrong! his 17 hours of experience tells that the game doesnt even have enough to fill a 5v5 on sales.
Im sorry tath, but you walked on a mine there :(

Let's leave this F2P discussion for another point in time. It may seem like a good idea, but until the dev's ready to actually set the pay model to such, I think it'd be a better idea to leave it to a friendly discussion, instead of demands.

There are some people but no 5v5 game or something close.
