Hey PH Hawk!
All those things have been addressed a few times in the discord server before where i hold dev stages and chat to the community most regularily :) There's a good few updates left so I'm trying to package as much in as I can - saving FOV is something I've been meaning to add and hopefully I'll get that done for the next update too! The delays of the 360s is something I'm currently looking at, key binds is also something I have yet to figure out - but that's not to say it wont happen, just another thing on the long lists I want to eventually do :) Out of bounds glitches and clipping is something that has been improved on this coming update so hopefully people won't see that happen as much before (ideally not at all hehe)
Achievements are coming at 1.0! :)
While I do own the game, there's little to none new things I'm waiting for.
I don't play multiplayer and gamemodes seems boring.
New tricks, bugfixes, and new vanity items is what I'm waiting for in upcoming updates.
Maybe also add AI players?
As a new gamemode for example.
Anyway, the price may seem high, but for a game like this - it's fine.
Comparison with Hollow Knight is useless, cuz there's sh*t ton of similar games.
But when it comes to good parkour games, what do we have?
And I say this as someone who already PURCHASED the game. The price was already steep as it was for what little it offered. The consumer perspective doesn't care about the "effort put into a game", it cares about the "value put out from the game". And comparatively in this instance, it's minimal.
I am a bit baffled by statements like this if I'm honest with you. Especially since you do own the game (Thanks for the support btw, you are much appreciated!!) but there have been 25 updates since launch, at no additional cost, a lot of which has been providing content directly asked for by the community, so many improvements, new mechanics, customization options, a new map - and so much more coming in this next update for that new price, and at no additional price for you or anyone else who's got the game already, not to mention the addition of multiplayer and 2 multiplayer games modes since launch.
I do get your point of people only seeing the value the game provides, that makes sense of course - but please also consider, as an indie developer, and a solo dev for the most part at that, I also need to be able to finance production, especially for a first time game, with no prior experience, but still coming forth on so many community wishes and suggestions, while trying to keep up with these days customer expectations. I am confident in my game, and I can see the value it provides, whether a sandbox or not, the unique value it provides let alone from servicing a niche that hasn't seen good improvements in the parkouring genre for years, i think the value should speak for itself this far into the project. Furthermore I believe degrading sandbox games for being sandbox games is not a valid point, as sandbox games can provide endless fun! Once again this is all coming from a place of love and passion, but I'm confident in my game, product and it's price, and hopefully with everything that's to come you will come to the same conclusion eventually :)
I respect your opinion, and thank you for your constructive critisism, even though we may not agree on all. Peace and thanks again for supporting the game :)
