Whenever i try to climp using L2 it just teleports me back to my marker. does anyone else have this problem?

I've had an issue with one of my controllers once, and it was some kind of internal rewiring, one button input, activated another input. It could be that your controller is showing wear, or you handled it a bit too roughly causing some strange connections.

Could also be that you are holding your thumb over the D-pad, and out of habit press up as you also press L2.

Using a Dualsense, and that is not an issue I have.
