Question about dive roll

Sometimes i accidentally do a different sort of dive roll over obstacles even though im not pressing anything else other than circle (Using a ps5 controller), anyone knows what the requirement is for that?

if you hit square and then circle it does a separate dive roll trick. Check the trick list in the pause menu too, it helped me out.
