I've played 10 games on this. Almost every time I die of dehydration.

Where do you find the fresh snow? I've searched places ignoring loot looking for snow but never found any.

Does it only spawn at certain times or in certain places?

Please help the games just a dehydration simulator for me atm

Thats easy ;)
Equip the shovel and select it so you have it out.
Then you can harvets snow from the ground.
light a fire in the oven in the starter house, put snow in raw then cookingpot and container pops up in oven window, put in cooking pot and empty flasks
then you get dirty water
put firewood in raw, then you get charcoal
in crafting window choose clean water, use dirty water and charcoal
Done :D
This can be done if you build a fire in the woods also, save those water flasks!
