What are some good songs I can get that work well with the game? Obviously some songs work better than others with the notes, so that's what i'm looking for. Just looking for new songs to play! Thanks!

I'll suggest the "Hardest Tracks of any Genre" thread in the forums. There's a lot of songs posted on it already. I'll go ahead and suggest a few too.

I also found the other "dreemurr" family songs to be difficult. Heartache is a fairly challenging, Asgore is pretty challenging, and Save the world is even harder than Hopes and Dreams.

Ironically, the music that would play during the hardest fights in the games, are some of the easiest music. Meglovania isn't extremely difficult, and a battle against a true hero isn't either.

The track confidence says excellent but the buttons are ABSOLUTELY off beat.
Imagine this: 1,2,3,4 (normal beat)
Now the buttons go like this: 1,234,56

Anything by EDEN/The Eden Project. If you are an anime fan, check out Zankyou no Terror's (Terror in Resonance) soundtrack, its the best out there.

Guys if you haven't figured it out yet there is a lot of free music in newgrounds.com you can play in melody's escape. If you're not familiar with this website...it's the website that Geometry Dash uses for its music.

I know this was posted around 4 years ago, but I'm posting this, because this game is still going strong today :D I've recently posted a steam discussion with the title 'Good songs for Melody's Escape.' In there, I've posted a list of the names of songs that are suitable for Melody's Escape, all with good tempo analysis (how well the game picks up the tempo of a song), and are really fun to play to!
