I saw someone flying in an earlier build and it looked like so much more fun. so much more satisfying. Compared to how it is now it's a little lame. I'd rather fly than run. :(

It's based on the current tempo/intensity of the song. Faster paced and higher intensity songs will get you flying, while slower songs have you run or walk.
