Some songs won't work.
I understand not all music files tend to work for this game... some are just too short and not the right type of file. Anyways, some of my .m4a files will work when others dont. .m4p files dont seem to work.. and if I try to drag and drop my music file into the game it starts to try to run it but then gives me some error about a BASS file. Is there anyway I can change the files to make them work without ruining my songs or am I just out of luck until its updated to support all types of files?

Hi,

m4a are regular music files from iTunes and should always work correctly if purchased from iTunes (if one doesn't play, does removing the song and redownloading it works?)

But m4p is a DRM protected file format from the Apple Music service and is not supported by Melody's Escape.

Try redownloading it as a different file format if possible. Mp3, FLAC, and M4A work best. You can try WAV and .ogg too.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with that service, but after a quick search it seems that it is a music streaming service offering DRM-protected downloads. Melody's Escape is not able to play DRM-protected music files.

Will you put this in the description? I think that it's fair to warn people about which file types that doesn't work before they buy the game.
