Scenario Editor
If memory serves me, I believe at leas GNB 3 and 4 had a scenario editor. If you open the folder where the games are you see it but no way to use it like the game, click and its done. You can use dosbox but it´s a pain and since you paid for it.... any chance to get that working please

GNBNA had a scenario editor expansion as well.

I can get the Scenario Editor (sgen) for GNBNA to run in DOSBox and I can make and save new scenarios but I can not figure out how to get my new costume made scenarios to play in the regular GNBNA game. Please let me know how to load and play costume scenarios.

I own this both as a disc version and on GOG.

You need GNBSP386.EXE (or GNBSP.BAT).
Unfortunatelly, (at least in GOG version) GNBSP still requires copy protection, also, the GOG version freezes on certain screens (original CD version works), so I am highly interested, if Steam version has (or has not) same issues.

GOG version: to run scenario editor with GNB3:
look at the GNB3-4 folder and backup all the GNB3 files (without the .bin one) in case you've done something wrong next.

first step: create a batch file to launch the editor.
- copy "run-game-GNB3.bat" and rename it "run-editor-GNB3.bat"
- modify your new file: replace (at the end of the file) "-conf gnb3-game.conf" with "-conf gnb3-edit.conf" and save it.

next step: create a configuration file for your new editor batch:
- copy "gnb3-game.conf" and rename it "gn3-edit.conf" (same name you use before to modify your .BAT file)
- modify your new file: locate (at the end of the file) and replace "GNB3.EXE" with "SCEDITOR.EXE". Save it.

to launch the Editor, execute your batch file "run-editor-GNB3.bat".

It works for me !

maybe you can use the same process with GNB4, not tried yet.
