I hope they will add this in the future
This isn't the fault of the game though. SteamVR and my headset don't seem to like each other
Edit: Okay I figured it out. Steam link had to also be set to the beta channel within the headset
The hand tracking works better in the meta quest version but the steam one is totally playable. I hope they keep working on it. Great game by the way. Love it!
Did as in the post:
- beta both in my pc and in my headset
- SteamVR OpenXR
- Hand tracking.
SteamVR's window in pc shows two hands icon (and headset).
The game only recognizes index pinch and grip (closed fist).
Tried in the demo, I bought it on metastore where the hand tracking works flawlessly.
Would love to hear more tips on what I'm doing wrong
The game is the same on both version, but you have a framerate boost on PC ;)
What about the hand tracking with VD? I remember the original Maestro was basically HTC showcasing hand tracking and I played it on Meta but still... I can't imagine playing this with controllers instead, even if it has a better framerate.
For the moment, hand tracking is slightly better on Quest than SteamVR
Alright, thank you. Will wait for the christmas discount on Meta.
