Can't do anything (Valve Index)

I'm using a valve index, and while I can see my hands, I can't select anything or perform the requested Pinch to select.

Même problème ainsi qu'a un pote, les controleurs ne sont absolument pas pris en compte pour le valve index... Tristesse totale

Same problem as a friend, the controllers are absolutely not taken into account for the valve index... Total sadness

Merci de penser a nous en tout cas, on tombe dans l'oubli avec le valve, il n'y en a plus que pour le quest aujourd'hui et beaucoup des portages sur steam ne prennent pas les autres casques VR.
Donc encore merci pour nous :)
A tout hasard, savez-vous si le patch sera intégré a la démo ou seulement la release?

Thanks for thinking of us anyway, we're falling into oblivion with the valve, there's only one left for the quest today and many of the ports on steam don't support other VR headsets.

Same issue, on Valve Index no buttons do anything to select the first menu option. It should be trivial to fix. It has been 2 months.

I found that going into your Steam VR settings and changing your controller bindings to one listed there called (something like) 'works for now'.
This got the gestures working on my Index controllers and I was able to play the demo

Still not fixed. I didn't try the above workaround though. Would be good to see it fixed out of the box.

This actually works... i really hope that full support will be there on release. Because despite this issue (fixed with a workaroung) the demo got me by suprise and was amazed by the quality and immersion (the irony). Looking forward to the full release. And devs, i see now that you have a good game going, but please also pay attention to the community when something is not working, silence can be so devastating at times.
