Each of the books will change your personality until you read another. There are accessories that will also change your personality until you take them off.

Do keep in mind that the personality will only change if they are equipped in the first accessory slot.

Or if they're cursed, in which case it will take effect even if you equip it in the second slot.

Just be mindful that books will change your personality permanently unlike equipment that changes it only while you're using the item.
