Broken Blade + Oriichalcum
There was mention of the "Sword of Kings". Are the broken blade and Oriichalcum somehow need to be forged to get it? Or am I missing something? Thanks.

That's how it was in the original. Except it was just Oricalcum.

I don't know how they do it in this version. In the original you had to sell it to a master weapon smith.

In this one you go find the smith's hammer at his former home.

You can also upgrade your old man's helmet if you found it, if you manage to get a hold of some valuable legendary ore in the lonely depths and bring both to an old traveling companion of his.

You will run into a guy in an item shop who talks about being a Smith somewhere, but he's missing his Smithing Hammer and inspiration. Once you show him the broken sword he will be inspired and ask for the hammer and metal. Cue a cutscene and he gives you the fixed sword.

Appreciate all the help. I did get the sword of kings and did "finish" game at level 95. Currently just started Cloud Citadel.

North East quadrant of the world of Darkness.
that explains why i cant find it.
im not there yet
thank you
The quest trigger for upgrading Ortaga's helm is not obvious either. Why do I have to talk to some miners before I can go get another bomb?
The miners are the ones that tell you that you need a bomb in the first place, why would you even be trying to get a bomb before getting the information that you need a bomb?
Yeah, I saw the ore in the bottom of the Navel of the Earth, and was trying to figure out how to get it. I was quite annoyed when I learned you couldn't get the bomb until MUCH later in the game.
