That would involve giving money to a company which embodies the word "vile" itself. Don't use spite as a reason to punish customers.
Seems your wish was granted.
Not for me then... shame i like DQ XI and liked to play DQ VIII back then on console
Is there maybe a chance the remove it after a while ?
They will. It's usually a 6-month contract with Denuvo.
Then, they either have to pay for continued support or remove it. From what I have seen, Square Enix almost always chooses to remove after the 6-month release window.
Denuvo no longer offers one-time licenses like they used to (reason why some older releases are still stuck with Denuvo).
Source: Crytek leak
Well they removed it after like five weeks from DQ Monsters so maybe it'll be short-lived here too.
Sounds promising, i get why the want to protect the sales in the beginning.
I can wait and getting it reduced and denuvo free in later years - works for me.
Thank you for this information :)
lol, that's just the cherry on the ♥♥♥♥ sundae!
Imagine thinking anti-piracy is somehow a bad thing.
All this obsessive hatred for Denuvo. So much about it was overblown and straight up lied about by people who got mad they couldn’t pirate pc games so easily anymore.
This is a bad take. You cannot dictate how we run our machines. There are plenty of practical reasons to not want denuvo installed at the kernel level on your computer. If you're okay with that, I'm not going to stop you, it's your choice. But stop trying to see the worst in every post you read, in an attempt to overblow practical reasoning for not wanting Denuvo on a computer.
