Sad That They Censored the Game

I was really looking forward to this and also the remake of 1 and 2. Ultimately though I just really want to be able to play the games. The female warrior looks stupid with the shorts and sports bra, the bunny girl was only showing some cleavage and the type A type B is really unnecessary. I mean its clear they are male and female. I hope that modders will fix the censored outfits.

I feel like I want the games so bad that I have no choice but to get them anyway because otherwise I'll miss out on some awesome JRPGs, but I'm really not happy about this. Why can't there just be a toggle at the very least. Urgh, snowflakes don't even play games anyway, so I don't know why they felt the need to do this.

I am so sick of DEI ruining character designs. It just makes them look less appealing and in some cases downright odd, like the warrior girl. I will never understand why attractive female characters are considered a bad thing. Its ridiculous and unfathomable.

What I'm going to tell you isn't good, but there are ways to play these games without paying for them. I'm fed up with this DEI propaganda. They've wiped out many franchises by forcing their ideology through. Now they're paying for it little by little. They focused on a "modern audience." I hope this "modern audience" keeps them going. I don't deny that I've saved a lot of money.

Hmm... well I'd rather have it officially and legally. I know, so many franchises I love have been ruined. I think though, you have to pick your battles. Some franchises have been obliterated but this one isn't as drastic as that. Its been marred, sure but it'll still be playable. Its like they've given us a cake that's been squashed and slightly burned, still edible but you'd want a nicer one given the choice.

My money goes on them not even playing the game and just riding the hate wave. Especially when a lot of their arguments are dismantled when you look at the actual DQ stuff, like the female Warrior having had underclothes since like 2015 and the monster redesigns since Dark Prince which was under development while Toriyama was still alive.

Indeed. It's so annoying to see people weaponize Akira Toriyama's death over this despite that he was involved with the games when revised designs were happening there is no way he wasn't aware and he didn't complain
