Ultrawide mod

Hi,

I saw in an older post with files to enforce 21:9. I am extracting the files to the described folder, but when I boot the game it is still coming up with black borders.

Are there any additional steps required to make it work? Sorry I am clueless with mods, but I would love to play this game ultrawide, my screen is 3440x1440 btw

Hello my friend, I tested several Ultrawide patches shared by Lyall and the Personna 3 patch works very well with Dragon Quest.

Does it work in windowed UW resolutions? I made a couple of custom UW resolutions within nvidia control for windowed mode. Works with most games I've tried.

Hey I tried doing this exact thing but It doesnt seem to work at all? I still have black boarders when booting up the game, made sure i had the right patch version downloaded and copy pasted the exact extract spot but didnt work at all

Make sure to copy these 4 files inside the P3R/Binaries/Win64 folder and paste them into the said directories.
UltimateASILoader_LICENSE.md, P3RFix, P3RFix.asi, dsound.dll

ive done all of this exactly and it still doesnt work for me must be something weird with my computer ig, I'll just play the game with the black bars for now thanks for all the help though!

Unfortunately, this does not work. It actually crashes the game for me after the initial loading screen.

It definitely works, I have been using it for more than 20 hours and it has never crashed once.

Lyall released a new mod for this game recently, you should use that instead.
