Is it suppose to be this easy?

I’m literally breezing through this game on normal difficulty so easily I don’t even have to worry about tactics or strategy at all. Or is it just for the small mobs and the bosses get more harder?

Most DQ games are easy. I always feel the same way until you fight some bosses. But then again it's only some if you out level or know what to do.

It starts off really easy, then starts to rough you up. If it's too easy, change to Draconian or whatever it's called.

I mean I’m a DQ veteran so that doesn’t help either I wouldn’t think lol. Never played the third game though till now.

How far are you into the game? The starting island is really easy, yes, but once you leave it ramps up.

It got harder for me at the first actual boss, difficulty got tougher for sure there

DQ was never really a hard game, even by older standards.

Even Hard mode isn't hard by todays standards.

If you are a Vet. You know dqxi was easy. Only final postgame was remotely hard. So why would this .

It is too easy. Playing on 'hard' mode and it's still too easy.

Re-filling HP and MP on level-up breaks the game again.

you said you are on normal.
draconian is harder. try that out before saying the game is too easy :)

also the start of the game is easy so you can learn the game, it ramps up a lot mid/late game. which is the majority of the game
