Bugged Achievement?

My main character died, so I went to the church to revive them. I did not get the achievement for it. Anyone else experience this?

Maybe it only counts if you revive them yourself using magic/item

as a note, I have been having problems getting achievements to show at all, despite having earned 3 so far. My partner indicated that he could see the list of achievements (including which ones I"d unlocked) from my player information. It does seem that that, there, is rather buggy, but I'll give it at least a few days to get that straightened out.

I thought it was bugged as well so played around with letting various characters die, and it triggered for me after my whole party was wiped and selecting "Continue from Church". You lose half your money though so best plan to reload a save after getting the achievement.

I see, not what the achievement describes but if that activates it then their description is incorrect. I'll try the same method and reload like you to not lose money (though I'm still on the first continent so it doesn't matter as much).
