My lady sounds like a guy
Female thief has guy voice and I think my male priest has a lady voice.

What platform are you playing on? Clearly not Steam.

Switch. It's really worrying. Like, do I keep leveling these characters? Try to waste time making new ones or this will be patched? idk.

I believe there is an NPC that lets you change their appearance a little ways in so that might let you fix the voice. I know all voice options were available for character select so probably got left on the wrong one

Same issue here, playing on PC via steam, my delicate young long haired female priest sound like a bearded hairy chested macho man and my old geezer wizard sound like an adorable and thin little girl, as sad as this is at least I'm not alone on this issue.

It's fine, NPCs will call you They/Them anyhow throughout the game.

Yall need to listen to the voices before you choose one. Both genders can have any voice.

Nice! Please, how do we do that?

On the second floor in the character creator, it's the last step. You should never use the premade characters on the first floor.

Thank you Buttlet237.

Kinda figured it out, it goes like this...
Like Buttlet237 said there is a button that plays the actual sound of the character voice, also it SEEMS (although I'm not sure) that every voice in the left column is male and every voice on the right column is female, anyway, the button thing is legit, for me is Y by default.

Unfortunately you will have to recreate them with the correct voice and level up them again from scratch, on the bright side, at least the game is functioning correctly, the problem was mechanism that is holding the controller (me) LOL

yea, I thought the voice selection was some kind of personality selection.... er. so there's an npc that allows you to change this later but.. anyone can tell me how long it takes to get there?
