Should I buy on PC or PS5 Pro?
As title, my PC is 9800X3D+RTX4090. PC is the clear winner here but not sure if I get worse graphics / frame rates on the PS5 Pro, I assume the game isn't really UE5 material. PS5 Pro version will be out an hour or two earlier in my region.

Thanks - I will. I played the original Japanese version on NES but then towards the end my save files got deleted by the cartridge... Determined to finish it this time. I still remember it was a very long journey, and the last part brought me back to the world of DQ1.

Why would someone purchase an inferior version on purpose and a PS5 Pro while owning a RTX 4090 ?

I also thought about it, I also have a PC with a 4090, an SXS, a PS5 and a switch.
I decided on the PC.
First of all because I love native 4k with 120 fps on my Oled TV at Pixelgames.
It's made with the UE4 and so I can play it in VR via UEVRInjector (that's totally underestimated when playing in 2.5D)
Then there will most likely be mod.
I miss the mobile aspect, so I'm hoping for Geforce Now^^ otherwise I'll soon buy a mobile PC or Steam deck anyway.

For me, the PS5 can only be used for remote play; the performance is not sufficient for anything else.

I'm considering getting it on my PS5 over my PC which absolutely destroys the PS5. Mainly because this isn't a performance based game, and I doubt it'll have ultrawide support. So I either need to decide to play it on Steamdeck or my TV & PS5. I'm leaning PS5.

Because you like your 65 inch Television OLED better than your 40 inch PC Monitor?
Because you prefer the PS5 gamepad over what you use with the PC?
Because going with the PC version you are digital only versus having a Physical copy of the game you can sell back or admire the Box/CD artwork?

There are a lot of solutions to play on TV without having the PC right next to it.
You can have this solution for far less than the PS5 Pro price.

Like a very long fiber optic hdmi cable or solid WiFi if you must. RF gamepads have a long working distance.

That is what I do, the 800-900 would be better spent on a 5090 or 6090 upgrade (if required, else saved for much better things)…and I can enjoy the big screen with a proper hardware.

Mainly to play PS5 exclusives in better resolution and frame rate (I saved FF7 Rebirth, Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin specifcially for the PS5 Pro), and for less heavy games to be played on the living room large screen without too much sacrifice of performance.

Apart from the consoles and my 4090 desktop, I also have a 4090 laptop (basically 4070Ti in desktop terms) connected to the large screen but it can't beat just pressing a button on the Dualsense Edge controller and get going - provided that the performance difference isn't huge, of course.

Game is UE4. FWIW.

Anyway, always get PC. Because modding, if nothing else.

You know that you can connect a PC to the TV? My pc is connected to my 77 oled tv and there I enjoy native 4k with 120fps. I can use any controller I have, Series x, Xbox 360, ps4 and 5, Switch pro, Switch n64, Switch snes, Backbone ps Edition etc etc.

The ps5 and xsx are just as beautiful or ugly at 77 inches for me as the Switch, whereby MK8 and smashbrothers with native 1080p/60 look more beautiful than some 720p fsr ps5 games.

Also a pc is not more complicated, I need 12 seconds and I'm already in the game.

I like to buy for PC because of the potential for mods.

Bruh this game is a Switch game. It will run great on both systems. Overkill.

Are you sure? I can play it with nativ 4k/120 On the PS5? . the 120fps mode has a render resolution of 1080p. And can I play it with the UEVR Injector at 200% resolution on my Quest 3 or Vr 2? With 120fps? I don't think so.

…… Bruh 🙄

Get a physical version of it so you can sell it when you're done playing.
