warrior is very tanky so you make sure he follows first
if you want money faster get a merchant there decently and for extra item drop chance get a thief
mage is very squishy so you sould take him last, but he has alot of spells that can damage things
the gotabout is like a joke class more or less, sometimes ignoring your orders so you are at risk
the new class monster wrangler is....the new class added to this remake
sage is special needing to unlock him with a special scroll
martialartist are somewhat like warriors but there less tanky but way faster
if you are not sure for first time the classic warrior, priest, and mage that later turns into sage in that order of lineup sould do you good, while you the hero are an allrounder being able to be somewhat of all 3 of them at once but lesser of course
As for skills, there are no skills. Some classes have magic. I forget if they keep what they learn upon class change, which is done at a special shrine later in the game.
Yes, except the main character. The Hero can only class change to a Sage later in the game.
Your other 3 party members can all be a single class, and for the most part it's quite effective. Depending on what you pick, of course. All warriors is a good way to steam roll some situations if you have the right equipment!
Hero is really good in combat, but not as good as the Warrior, who is the best in melee but has no magic. Hero learns a mixture of spells that both the Priest and the Wizard get. So they are basically the equivalent to a dual class Warrior-Mage type thing.
Sages are decent in melee, but their perk is that they can learn nearly every spell in the game, and have a higher MP pool. Definitely a must-have class for late-game. While you can only have one Hero in the game, any class can become a Sage.

So now even Warriors have skills to use during combat.
:surprised Pikachu face:
Neat!!
And with that Warriors and Martial Artists can actually gain MP the normal way. Which is pretty nice especially for any that have magic from changing from a Mage, Priest, or Sage
