Does anyone know if there's be any pre-downloading tonight? I saw that the game would unlock around noon EST for Steam according to socials. I'd like to have it ready to rock when I get home in the evening. Also do you think there'd be support for Nintendo style buttons? I have a nice 8bitdo controller I'd like to use though it wouldn't hurt using it without lol.

pre-load is unlikely. There are only 18h left to release.

Square doesn't tend to do pre-downloads for their games, I've noticed. As a european, it sucks cuz it means their games always unlock much later in the day for me. In the evening.

Similar boat. It sucks that every other platform it releases at midnight in my region.
