Honestly since 2022. My steam library maybe huge but dq has taken up much of my time. Enjoyable though.
I am one of the few who has dqx offline in steam. Very enjoyable experience. Before that dq hereos and builder's, both huge time sinks, enjoyable.
2023, dq treasures, builders 1 dq hereos 1. And most likely dq monsters july this year to december.
Even dq dai was ok after watching anime.
Dq does put final fantasy to shame
3 directly setups the events of 1.
Technically, not that I beat them, but dragon quest builders I hear takes place after 1 2 or 3
This is a prequel to those two technically.
Builders 1 is a non-canon alternate reality scenario following DQ1. Builders 2 is similarly kind of a what if scenario following DQ2 though it could more reasonably be considered canon than Builders 1.
My first playthrough was definitely on the 35 hours (but I see the average is 28 to 30). With additional extras and everything it will increase more.
