Personality's?

so i found out that the characters have so called Personalities.
are this like hidden stats or do they impact the game in a significant way?
just started and got personality mule (feels like a bad one, by the name)

Personalities do affect stat gain. You can always use consumable items later to change personalities or certain equipment accessories.

I'm 95% sure starting stats vary with starting personality, but yours surprise me. As you'll probably note in the in-game help, Mule has better Vitality than Wisdom growth. I usually see starting stats correspond with strengths rather than weaknesses.

That's probably the Mule you can get after your initial personality and stats are already decided

oh that's interesting, well i changed my personality at lvl 10, so now i've got good egg instead

Some Personalities are better than others, but Stat Seeds can be Renewably farmed, so thankfully what Personality when where how why is nothing to stress over, thankfully.

Also, just in case ya miss or forget the In-Game Tip on this, don't forget that Personality altering Items must be equipped in the MAIN Accessory Slot for the Personality Alteration to take place. This can be useful for if you wanna benefit from the Stat Boosts of a Personality Item to be able to choose if ya want the Personality Alteration to be enabled or disabled in the process. :)
