Temple of Trials enemies range from Lv. 53 ~ 66, so I guess you'd need a party average of Lv. 71+ including Hero for Holy Protection to nullify every encounter. So if your Hero doesn't meet that requisite, I'd bench them for the Aid an Adventurer mechanic and use Padfoot to avoid every encounter, even if they can match either weapon requisite. If you used seeds on them, my condolences.
Check the bottom of this post for a list of stats and ailment resistances, since you'll need to leverage them.

...and every +50 Attack afterwards would be +20 damage, while you specifically need to Critical Claim Hardy Hands because Attack caps at 850. Just go spend ~1.5 million EXP on each character as a Lv. 47 Martial Artist so they have it. And like 37k EXP on Lv. 20 Monster Wrangler so everyone has Wild Side + Monster Pile-On.
If your are grinding stats, 136k on a Lv. 29 Thief for Persecutter, optionally 410k on a Lv. 37 Warrior for Sword Dance & 172k on a Lv. 31 Gadabout for Egg On let you low turn either post-game boss since they are vulnerable to Confuse/Sleep.
The enemies are that overtuned with their bulk (Ka/Sap in this game is not a defense decrease, but rather 1.25x ~ 1.35x ~ 1.45x ~ 1.6x ~ 1.7x ~ 1.8x damage dealt) or high damage output (Steely Statue), while you can Blasto/Instant Death the boss Pandora's Boxes (but /not/ the fake chest versions), so it's just a gimmick dungeon if you don't grind.
The EXP amounts are not rewarding either. So besides Steely Statue's 0.5% Exotoga drop, if you wanted to King Hydra farm since it's 40% sleep resistance if you don't have Ortega's Helmet anymore (50% sleep resistance lost when upgraded to Auroral Helmet), I wouldn't engage with them.
The trials were not fun. I used Padfoot and Peep to skip through as much of the last dungeon as possible. I got lucky with a spare Exotoga drop, but didn't bother going back to get any more because the monsters felt dicey and unfair even after my hero hit 99. The Staff of Strife does wonders against Pandora's Boxes.
For the Grand Dragon, I think grinding up a party with 3x Monster Pile-on spam is faster than getting Thieves with 600+ strength for the Persecutter strategy. That's a LOT of seeds to farm. I fought the dragon a bunch of times and eventually just got lucky.
That is a shame. I would have liked to get the non-cannon ending from a wish.
Still, I won the actual game.
I see no reason to continue after Zoma if the post game isn't satisfying to play, that sounds like a waste of my time.
At least I enjoy the actual cannon portion of the game.
