black pepper is in baharata not asham. you have to go the cave northeast of asham, talk to the guy there, he will open a path to baharata. there you have to complete quest to rescue a girl from a cave, then you can get black pepper

Ok NE of there is some place called Nordy's grotto and it s locked.
I don't see Bahahaha anywhere.
Is there some kind of guide to help me through some of this? Because I don't want to continue asking everyone all these questions

You need to get the Magic Key in the Pyramid west of Asham, then use the Magic Key west of Romaria at Portoga to get a scroll to show to the guy at Nordy's Grotto to reach Baharata.

I do have the scroll (royal massive?), but the door is still locked, and I don't see Nordy anywhere

Did you....try opening the door? It's locked by the Thief's Key which you get in the very first dungeon of the game.

Yes, if you're at the point in the game where you need the Black Pepper then you have the Magic Key as well.

Well I had to have done something wrong. I did talk to the king in portoba, but I am not sure I did everything right. He said that he would open the door to somewhere I think. I thought that would have been the portal, but it wasn't that, so now I am stuck.

The door in Nordy's Grotto should open. Go to the end of the hall, then suddenly you turn south (north?). It is a little hard to see, so use your Map. There's drawers or pots in his room.

just walk into the door in that cave and follow the path untill you see a small man with a green hat, talk to him

I am not sure what happened, but somehow I did get through. in. Now that I got in, where is this stuff? I have to the man in that room where his Uncle works, but he is not there. Do I need to go back to Portuha to find him?
