Did I get ripped off though?

So I just found the merchant in Assalam who haggles for prices on things.

I looked up the standard price of black pyjamas online to see if it was worth getting. Several sites state the price is normally 2,400g. I bought them off this guy for 2,100g. And right when I bought them I got the achievement "Ripped off" that said you got ripped off LOL.

I'm not sure if that's a bug or w/e but last time I checked, buying something for less than what it's normally worth isn't generally referred to as getting ripped off.

Unless you can actually get them cheaper than 2,100 somewhere else?

IIRC 3 to 5 cities later you can buy them from a normal vendor for about the same price, maybe 1800. The "Rip-off" is if you take anything but the last price, and even then you're paying a bit more for earlier access to the items.

You pop the achievo for buying anything from him period. Doesn't matter what price you bought it at.
