Do seeds stay after class changes?
Just wondering if it's safe to use them before switching classes. Or if I should save them until I'm on the final class I'll keep the character as.

Depends on what you want to do with your characters. Your stats are halved when you change classes, but you'll always be ahead if you use a seed before you change class.

Let's say you have 50 STR and you change class. Now you have 25 STR.

Now if you used some seeds first, you have 58 STR. You change class, and now you have 29 STR.

Something like that.

So then seed don't truly stay.
I know some games when you use a stat seed, even if you change classes, the stat seed is always in effect. Meaning if you used 10 strength seeds, no matter what you changed to, you'd have the effect of those seeds.

So seems like it's better to hold on to seeds until you're done class changes.

Actually in that example you'd have 33 strength, the stats that come from seeds aren't halved

Oh, so stat seeds DO stay then?

hopefuldeath is right, the full seed benefit remains when class changing. even after changing multiple times. the values of "seed bonus" for a given character is kept as a separate internal value, so seed away.

They do. Also to be clear, they stay for all subsequent class changes too, not just the most recent class change

Yeah, that's awesome. So you can pump in seeds to make sure that the character's always got good bonuses.

Seed stats are in a different stat table so they carry over and don't get halved. This means there's no longer a reason to wait to use them.
